Kuwaiti MoI Honors a Delegation from Dubai International Airport’s Ports Affairs

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Friday, November 20th 2015 [ME NewsWire]

Lt. General Suleiman Fahad Al Fahad, Undersecretary at the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior, hosted a ceremony in his office at the ministry’s headquarters in Subhana, to honor a delegation from the UAE Ministry of Interior in recognition of their efforts in uncovering a fraud and impersonation case by residents in Kuwait that were seized at Dubai International airport. The delegation includes Colonel Talal Ahmad Al Shanqiti, Assistant Director of Ports Affairs, and First Lieutenant Ali Abdul Karim Ali, Investigations Branch Manager at the Dubai International Airport.

The honoring ceremony was attended by Brigadier Adel Ahmad Al Hashash, Director General of the Relations and Security Media Directorate General, and Colonel Saafaq Suwayan Al Azimi, Head of the Kuwaiti Aircrafts Protection Department.

Lt. General Al Fahad welcomed the UAE delegation, emphasizing the deep historical relations between both countries and the unrelenting spirit of cooperation between both parties in all areas, especially in the policing field.

He praised the policing cooperation between both countries, which allowed the uncovering of many cases. He also called for additional coordination, exchange of information and standardization of procedures to support security efforts.

For his part, Colonel Talal Ahmad Al Shanqiti, Assistant Director of Ports Affairs, expressed his thanks to the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior and to Lt. General Suleiman Fahad Al Fahad for his kind gesture. He also expressed his appreciation for this accolade that embodies the family spirit between both countries.
