Merck Announces First Patient Dosed in Phase 3 Study for Investigational Antibody-Drug Conjugate in Colorectal Cancer

DARMSTADT, Germany - Thursday, 21. May 2026

Precemtabart tocentecan (Precem-TcT) is investigated as a potential first-in-class anti-CEACAM5 ADC, for the treatment of metastatic CRC (mCRC)

CEACAM5 is overexpressed in the majority of colorectal tumors (~90%), and requires no patient selection

Significant unmet need remains for clinically meaningful innovation in colorectal cancer (CRC), the second leading cause of cancer death worldwide

Not intended for Canada-, UK- or US-based media

(BUSINESS WIRE) -- Merck, a leading science and technology company, today announced that the first patient has been dosed in the Phase 3 PROCEADE®-CRC-03 trial (NCT07549412). The study is evaluating precemtabart tocentecan (Precem‑TcT), a potential first‑in‑class investigational anti‑CEACAM5 antibody‑drug conjugate (ADC), for the treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC).

“Leveraging our novel payload‑linker technology, Precem‑TcT is the first CEACAM5‑targeted ADC in clinical studies with an exatecan payload, rationally designed for stability and enhanced cancer cell killing activity,” said David Weinreich, MD, MBA, Global Head of R&D and Chief Medical Officer for the Healthcare business of Merck. “The Phase 3 study and the enrollment of the first patient with Precem-TcT build on the Company’s more than 20 years of expertise in colorectal cancer, and highlight our commitment to advancing differentiated ADCs for heavily pretreated patients with limited treatment options.”

The PROCEADE®-CRC-03 study assesses the efficacy and safety of Precem-TcT, alone or with bevacizumab, in patients with mCRC who are intolerant- or refractory-to, or progressed after, systemic therapies. The PROCEADE®-CRC-03 study will be conducted in approximately 165 sites in 20 countries and will recruit approximately 1,020 patients with mCRC.

In Phase 1 (PROCEADE®-CRC-01; NCT05464030), Precem-TcT as monotherapy or in combination showed predictable and manageable safety in more than 100 patients with heavily pretreated mCRC. At the recommended dose for Phase 3 development (2.8 mg/kg Q3W; n=29), confirmed objective response rate (cORR) was 20.7% (95% CI: 8.0, 39.7), median PFS was 6.9 months (95% CI: 4.4, 9.5) and median OS was not reached (95% CI: 8.7, NE) after a median follow-up of 13.1 months.

“The PROCEADE®-CRC-03 Phase 3 study is designed to address significant unmet needs for patients with metastatic colon cancer whose disease has progressed after standard therapies,” said Kanwal P.S. Raghav, MBSS, MD, Department of Gastrointestinal Medical Oncology, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston. “The data from the phase 1 study suggested a manageable safety profile for Precem-TcT and encouraging early tumor response in the patients with heavily pre-treated metastatic colorectal cancer. CEACAM5 is largely absent from healthy tissues and is overexpressed in nearly all mCRC cases, supporting a non-selective, universal patient approach, and represents a promising therapeutic target in this setting.”

Globally, CRC is the third-most commonly diagnosed malignancy and the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths.1 Merck chose mCRC as the first indication to assess the efficacy and safety of Precem-TcT because ~90% of colorectal cancers overexpress CEACAM5,2 and there is a high unmet clinical need in patients with metastatic colorectal cancer, especially among those who progressed on several previous therapies.3,4,5 Patients with advanced colorectal cancer typically face a challenging prognosis, with few options available for those whose disease continues to progress after three or more lines of therapy. Additionally, with progression, response to treatment and prognosis become increasingly worse over time.

Advancing the Future of Cancer Care

At Merck, we strive every day to improve the futures of people living with cancer. Building on our 350-year global heritage as pharma pioneers, we are focusing our most promising science to target cancer’s deepest vulnerabilities, pursuing differentiated molecules to strike cancer at its core. By developing new therapies that can help advance cancer care, we are determined to create a world where more cancer patients will become cancer survivors. Learn more at www.merckgroup.com.

About Precemtabart tocentecan (M9140)

Precemtabart tocentecan is an investigational anti-CEACAM5 antibody-drug conjugate (ADC). Leveraging the company’s novel linker-payload technology, precemtabart tocentecan is the first CEACAM5 ADC with an exatecan payload, a potent topoisomerase inhibitor (TOP1i), which has been rationally designed for stability in circulation and superior cancer cell killing activity. Beyond the direct effect on the target cell, precemtabart tocentecan has been shown in preclinical research to induce tumor cell death through a bystander effect in which exatecan permeates the cell membrane to neighboring cells, inducing apoptosis (cell death). This bystander effect within the tumor microenvironment may enhance efficacy. Precemtabart tocentecan is currently being evaluated across tumor types with CEACAM5 expression and a high unmet need, including metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC), gastric cancer (GC), non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC).

About Colorectal Cancer

Colorectal cancer (CRC) is cancer of the colon or rectum, which often arises from benign polyps that eventually turn cancerous. It is the third most common diagnosed malignancy, and the second leading cause of cancer deaths worldwide with approximately 1 in 10 cancer deaths attributed to CRC. Despite new therapies, 5-year survival of stage 4 CRC is <20%. The global burden of CRC has substantially increased over time and is expected to increase by 60% to more than 2.2 million new cases and 1.1 million deaths by 2030.1

BeOne Medicines Launches One Save Changes Everything, a Global Cancer Care Awareness Campaign with Soccer Legend Tim Howard

 SAN CARLOS, Calif.

Campaign connects the preparation, precision, and grit that define great goalkeeping to the persistent scientific, clinical, and community efforts that drive progress in cancer care

Features international goalkeepers, uniting soccer’s global reach with BeOne’s commitment to patients everywhere

(BUSINESS WIRE)--BeOne Medicines Ltd. (“BeOne”) (Nasdaq: ONC; HKEX: 06160; SSE: 688235), a global oncology company, today launched One Save Changes Everything, a campaign that uses soccer as a lens to recognize the scientific, clinical, and human moments that matter in cancer care. The campaign launches with goalkeeping legends, including former U.S. Men’s National Team goalkeeper Tim Howard. The initiative is backed by a $300,000 community commitment for the installation of soccer mini-pitches near cancer treatment centers with the U.S. Soccer Foundation, and BeOne colleague‑driven charitable support across the world.

John V. Oyler, Co-Founder, Chairman, and CEO, BeOne Medicines, said:

“Just like soccer is defined by save after save, progress in cancer is built moment by moment – in the lab, in the clinic, and in the communities where patients and families face it every day. ‘One Save Changes Everything’ was created to recognize the researchers who pursue targets others may have overlooked, the clinicians who act under pressure, the caregivers who show up without recognition, and the patients whose resilience fuels it all. BeOne was built for those moments: to be ready, to move with urgency, and to make sure progress reaches patients wherever they are. That belief drives everything we do.”

A Personal Connection to Cancer

A global soccer legend, Howard’s 16 saves against Belgium in 2014 – the most in international soccer history – are more than a record. They are the literal expression of the One Save Changes Everything campaign’s central belief: that preparation, presence, and the refusal to yield, applied moment after moment, can change the outcome of the most consequential events.

Howard’s connection to the campaign runs deeper than the sport. When he was 11, his grandfather was diagnosed with cancer. The ordinary evenings that followed – shared dinners, quiet walks, simply being present – he now recognizes as some of these moments.

Former U.S. Men’s National Team goalkeeper Tim Howard said:

“The moments that matter most aren’t always the ones people see. When my grandfather was sick, what stuck with me was our family showing up for him – quietly, consistently, and when it counted. Watching them taught me that being present, prepared, and willing to act can change everything. Partnering with BeOne feels natural because that’s how they show up for patients: every day, around the world, when it counts.”

Additional international goalkeepers will be announced to support the campaign alongside Tim Howard, along with voices from the cancer community that reflect BeOne’s global footprint.

Turning Purpose into Action

True to BeOne’s belief that purpose must translate into action, One Save Changes Everything extends beyond storytelling through a partnership with the U.S. Soccer Foundation. BeOne will fund the installation of soccer mini-pitches, creating spaces for movement, connection, and moments of normalcy for families affected by cancer.

Ed Foster-Simeon, President & CEO, U.S. Soccer Foundation said:

“Soccer has a unique ability to bring joy and connection in the most difficult moments. Placing mini-pitches near cancer centers creates permanent, accessible spaces for the families who need them most. We’re proud to partner with BeOne to create meaningful places for families to play.”

BeOne Colleagues Join One Save Changes Everything

BeOne’s more than 12,000 colleagues spanning six continents are the engine behind the donation commitment. For every hour an employee volunteers to support their community during the campaign period, BeOne will convert those hours into charitable dollars toward the $300,000 total to support the U.S. Soccer Foundation and other nonprofit organizations across the world.

One Save Changes Everything launches around the world today. Learn more at BeOneSave.com.

Nexo Championship Returns to Aberdeenshire as Nexo Expands DP World Tour Footprint

VIRGINIA WATER, England - Wednesday, 20. May 2026

Nexo renews its Nexo Championship title partnership for the second year in 2026.

The Nexo Championship, with a newly increased prize fund of $3 million, will return to Aberdeenshire on August 20-23, 2026.

The tournament concludes the 2026 Closing Swing on the Race to Dubai schedule.

(BUSINESS WIRE) -- Nexo, the premier digital assets wealth platform, and the DP World Tour have confirmed a renewed agreement that will see the Nexo Championship return to Trump International Golf Links in Aberdeenshire from August 20-23, 2026. The tournament will serve as the concluding event of the DP World Tour’s Closing Swing – the final event of the first phase of the 2026 Race to Dubai.

In 2025, Nexo joined the DP World Tour as its Official Digital Wealth Platform through 2027 before soon adding the title rights at the Nexo Championship. For its part, the Nexo Championship made its mark from day one: The inaugural 2025 edition launched the Course Record presented by Nexo – a season-long rolling prize fund, starting at $10,000 per tournament and growing with each event until a course record is broken, before resetting for the next.

"The Nexo Championship has become something we are genuinely proud of – a tournament that launched the first-ever course record prize on the DP World Tour, and a Scottish champion on home soil in its inaugural year. We are back because this partnership earns its place in our portfolio through measurable long-term view. The Nexo Championship and the DP World Tour give us concentrated, recurring exposure to exactly the audience Nexo is built for – and that is a combination worth renewing,” the Nexo team said of the sponsorship.

Ben Cowen, Chief Tournament and Operations Officer at the DP World Tour, said: “We are pleased to have reached this new agreement with both Nexo and Trump International Golf Links for the Nexo Championship to again be part of our global schedule, and we thank them for their continued commitment. The Trump International Old Course has earned a reputation as one of the leading new links courses in the United Kingdom, and it was a great backdrop for last year’s tournament. With the Staysure PGA Seniors Championship taking place on our Staysure Legends Tour at the start of August, it is set to be another fantastic month of golf in Aberdeen this summer.”

Speaking on behalf of the host venue, Eric F. Trump said: “We are greatly honoured to host the DP World Tour’s Nexo Championship at Trump International, Scotland – home of the greatest 36 holes in world golf. This is the second consecutive year we have hosted this prestigious event, and I am immensely proud of the two championships link courses that we have built along the spectacular North Sea shoreline. It is testament to their quality and stature that both the Old Course and New Course will host world-class tournaments this August.”

Don Trump Jr. also commented on the renewal of the Nexo Championship: “2026 is set to be another incredible year for championship golf at Trump International, Scotland. A huge thank you to the title sponsor Nexo and all those committed to delivering this great event.”

As a tournament, the Nexo Championship first appeared on the Race to Dubai in 2020 as the Scottish Championship. Its evolution into a named Nexo staple reflects both the DP World Tour’s growing sponsorship ambitions and Nexo’s broader mission for consistent, long-term, and purposeful title partnerships at historically significant events – the most effective tools for building lasting brand recognition in premium markets.

At last year’s Nexo Championship, Scotland’s Grant Forrest claimed his second DP World Tour title, finishing eight under par and four strokes clear of England’s Joe Dean. Forrest also collected a $10,000 bonus as the inaugural winner of the Course Record presented by Nexo, set during a second-round 66. The 2026 edition will introduce a celebrity pro-am on Wednesday, August 19, broadening the tournament’s appeal beyond solely the professional field.

The Nexo Championship renewal is one expression of a deliberate, long-term approach to sport that Nexo is building across disciplines and continents. As Official Partner of the Audi Revolut Formula 1 Team, Official Crypto Partner of the Australian Open, title partner of the ATP 500 Dallas Open, and Official Regional Digital Asset Partner of the Argentine National Football Team ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Nexo has constructed a portfolio designed for compounding returns – recurring, premium exposure and experiences for the financially active, globally mobile audiences it serves.

Thales Announces Strategic Partnership with Google Cloud to Launch a New Sovereign Cloud in Germany

Thales and Google Cloud have signed a landmark partnership to launch a new European sovereign cloud offering in Germany, delivering advanced cloud capabilities to customers while keeping their data confidential, secure and fully sovereign.

This solution will live on dedicated infrastructure that will be managed and operated by a new German entity, which Thales will fully own and control.

This offering is designed to meet the stringent digital sovereignty and regulatory requirements of German public sector organizations and highly regulated industries, and meet Germany's new C3A framework criteria. It is available in Preview now and aims for General Availability by the end of 2026.

By establishing this new sovereign region alongside PREMI3NS by S3NS, a Thales subsidiary, this new partnership marks an industry-first: a pan-European, geo-redundant, sovereign cloud offering that delivers a unique cross-border disaster recovery solution in Europe for Europe.

(BUSINESS WIRE)--Thales, a global leader in high technologies, today announced a strategic partnership with Google Cloud to establish a new sovereign cloud solution in Germany. Building on the success of S3NS, Thales’ trusted cloud subsidiary in France, and operator of its first European sovereign cloud region, this agreement marks a decisive step in meeting the German market's demand for sovereign solutions that shield sensitive data from extraterritorial laws.

Thales will launch a new German entity, legally and operationally independent from Google Cloud, that will be staffed and managed by local German personnel, ensuring that no third party, including non-European entities, can access the data stored or processed within it.

“Germany represents a critical market for sovereign technologies, and this partnership is a direct response to private and public sector German organizations wanting access to Google Cloud’s technology under full German control. By launching this locally operated infrastructure, we are delivering a solution that guarantees sensitive workloads remain protected from any extraterritorial reach while meeting the unique security and compliance requirements of our customers,” said Christoph Ruffner, CEO and Country Director of Thales in Germany.

The partnership reflects a shared conviction that German and European organizations in the highly regulated industries and the public sector can benefit from cloud services that combine world-class technology with the highest standards of security and control.

"Our partnership with Thales in Germany represents a significant milestone in our commitment to digital sovereignty in Germany and Europe. By combining the power and scale of Google Cloud with Thales’ deep expertise in cybersecurity and local operational control, we are enabling German organizations even in the most sensitive sectors to innovate with confidence, while meeting the specific legal and operational safeguards required by the local regulatory landscape," said Marianne Janik, Vice President, EMEA North, Google Cloud.

Addressing the need for sovereign cloud offerings in Germany

This new German sovereign cloud offering will be based on the most advanced technologies and services of each partner, bringing the benefits of hyperscale cloud technology to companies and public sector organizations so they can innovate transparently, autonomously and securely. The planned new entity will be structured to ensure complete operational separation from Google Cloud, providing customers with the legal and technical guarantees they need in an increasingly regulated environment. In addition, this new solution will provide enhanced continuity and reliability across Europe.

The solution is available in Preview now and expected to be generally available by the end of 2026, and is being developed to meet regulatory requirements including C5 and the new C3A framework.

A proven model, now scaling across Europe

This expansion creates two complementary sovereign regions run by Thales. With a technology and operating model identical to PREMI3NS by S3NS in France, this new region will also enable German, French, and European customers to benefit from enhanced resilience, through disaster recovery capabilities across both regions while maintaining high security standards. Having achieved SecNumCloud 3.2 qualification for its PREMI3NS offering at the end of 2025, S3NS demonstrates that state-of-the-art cloud innovation can be combined with stringent security, operational control, and strong protection of sensitive data.

"S3NS highly welcomes this new partnership. With this German region, we are building a European first: by aiming for both SecNumCloud qualification and C5 - C3A framework across both regions, it is the first time a sovereign cloud model targets different local certifications simultaneously, simplifying the compliance burden for multinational customers. And by providing this multi-region sovereign cloud capability, we will enable European organizations to benefit from enhanced resilience, without ever compromising on sovereignty," said Hélène Bringer, President of S3NS and Vice-President, Critical Information Systems at Thales.

Thales in Germany, an industrial player employing 2,300 people across nine sites, with a presence in the country dating back to 1880, provides the foundation for this partnership. Its longstanding expertise in critical missions across defense, security, aerospace, and digital identity positions Thales as a natural partner to address Germany's most sensitive cloud requirements.

Relevant employee representatives of Thales will be informed and consulted on this project.

The official name of the new German entity will be unveiled in the coming months.

Customers and partners are welcoming the Sovereign Cloud partnership between Thales and Google Cloud

"The digital transformation of statutory health insurance will be built upon the foundation of modern AI and cloud technology. This will be crucial for enabling us to continue operating efficiently and with a strong customer focus in the market, particularly in light of the impending challenges facing the healthcare insurance system as a whole. At the same time, the healthcare sector is - quite rightly - subject to the strictest regulatory requirements. We are following the partnership between Thales Germany and Google Cloud with great interest; we welcome the availability of such solution approaches on the market, and, by extension, the implementation of solutions that fully comply with regulatory standards. They demonstrate that digital innovation and uncompromising data security can indeed go hand in hand - an absolute prerequisite for earning the trust of customers and policyholders." Sebastian Angerstein, IT Project- and Solutionmanagement Lead, AOK Niedersachsen

“Financial markets thrive on integrity, and digital sovereignty is an indispensable building block in this regard. It sends an important signal to the market that, through Google Cloud Dedicated in conjunction with Thales, a solution is being created that combines technological excellence with resilient, cross-border infrastructure. Such offerings create further opportunities to securely and reliably scale highly regulated processes in the cloud.” Dr. Christoph Böhm, Member of the Executive Board Deutsche Börse AG, Chief Information Officer/Chief Operating Officer

"The protection and sovereign control of sensitive health data are of the highest priority for the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein. At the same time, modern university hospitals require powerful and highly scalable cloud and AI infrastructures to effectively drive innovation in research, translation, and patient care at the highest level. In our view, the partnership between Thales Germany and Google Cloud combines both: modern cloud and AI technologies at an international level of innovation, as well as localized control and regulatory compliance for sensitive data and critical applications. Such sovereign cloud approaches constitute a key building block for implementing digital innovations in the healthcare sector in a responsible and future-proof manner." Rudolf Dück, CIO, University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein

1GLOBAL Launches Verint Communications Analytics to Enhance Cloud Compliance for Financial and Regulated Industries

AMSTERDAM - Wednesday, 20. May 2026

1GLOBAL now offers transcription with insights into mobile calls in 10 countries on Verint Communications Analytics, built specifically for financial markets and trading environments

Streamlines the compliance investigation and mobile call monitoring process through transcription and analysis

Supports transcription and translation from 30+ languages into English with near real-time processing

(BUSINESS WIRE) -- 1GLOBAL, a pioneer in global telecommunications solutions, today announced its launch of Verint® Communications Analytics, a key offering within Verint Financial Compliance (VFC) providing mobile call transcription and analytics capabilities. Verint Communications Analytics has been designed to help financial institutions and regulated organizations accelerate productivity when monitoring voice calls (including mobile), identifying behavioral patterns, querying data intentionally by topic, risks, keywords or sentiment, identifying misuse and reducing regulatory risk.

Verint Communications Analytics is seamlessly integrated into 1GLOBAL’s mobile platform across 10 international markets. It enables cloud compliance customers to achieve faster and more efficient results via transcription and various analytics.

Transforming Raw Data into Actionable and Valuable Intelligence

As regulatory scrutiny intensifies, financial firms face growing pressure to monitor communications more comprehensively, yet many still rely on fragmented recording tools and a time-consuming manual review process.

1GLOBAL’s use of Verint Communications Analytics fundamentally addresses this challenge by transforming compliance from a reactive obligation into a proactive intelligence function.

The 1GLOBAL Cloud Compliance Platform records all mobile calls and SMS and securely transfers them to Verint Communications Analytics for automated transcription, summarization, sentiment analysis, and multilingual topic detection – translating from 30+ languages into English with near real-time processing.

This allows compliance teams working in financial institutions and regulated industries to identify risks faster and investigate potential issues in days rather than weeks, completely securely.

1GLOBAL’s entire architecture is deployed in multiple regions, including EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and North America, ensuring that call media is always processed locally within the customer’s regulatory jurisdiction and never transferred across regions. This is why 1GLOBAL Compliance is trusted by regulated financial institutions, including eight of the world’s top ten investment banks.

Siobhan Thompson, Head of Sales, 1GLOBAL Compliance, said: “In today’s regulatory environment, firms need confidence that business communications are being captured accurately and reviewed efficiently. By combining Verint Communications Analytics with our global mobile recording capabilities, we help compliance teams identify potential risks faster, reduce operational burden, and strengthen oversight across regulated communications.”

John Bourne, SVP Global Channels and Alliances, Verint, said: “Extending Verint Communications Analytics to 1GLOBAL’s mobile network marks an important step in how regulated firms can apply AI to voice data at a global scale. Together we are equipping compliance and risk teams with a unified view across mobile communications, helping them move from sampling and spot checks to continuous, intelligent oversight.”

As ever, this principle underpins our identity as a Benefit Corporation and B Corp, and it makes sustainability an integral part of our business model, embedded in how we make decisions and create long-term value for patients, communities and future generations.”

InterSystems IntelliCare Becomes the First AI-Native EHR to Achieve EU Medical Device Regulation Certification

BOSTON - Tuesday, 19. May 2026 AETOSWire Print

Regulatory milestone reaffirms InterSystems as a leading provider of enterprise-grade AI applications

(BUSINESS WIRE) -- InterSystems, a creative data technology provider powering more than one billion health records globally, today announced that its electronic health record (EHR) solutions have been certified as Class IIa Medical Devices under Regulation (MDR) certification under Regulation (EU) 2017/745. This approval marks the first fully unified AI-native EHR to achieve MDR Class IIa certification in the European Union.

This certification demonstrates that InterSystems AI-native EHR meets stringent EU safety and quality standards. This key milestone has significant implications for how healthcare organizations can responsibly scale AI while building confidence among healthcare providers and regulators.

InterSystems has secured MDR certification for InterSystems IntelliCare™, a next-generation EHR architected with native artificial intelligence capabilities, and InterSystems TrakCare®, a unified healthcare information system used by leading healthcare systems globally. Built on TrakCare's proven interoperability foundation, InterSystems IntelliCare differentiates itself by delivering AI capabilities that are fundamentally designed into the platform's data layer, rather than bolted on as third-party applications.

“Healthcare organizations are rightfully demanding that AI be more than just an experimental add-on,” said Don Woodlock, President, InterSystems. “By securing the EU’s first MDR certification for an AI-native EHR, we are establishing a standard that AI should be at the core of all healthcare applications.”

By moving beyond fragmented AI add-ons, InterSystems IntelliCare provides organizations with simplified oversight for their own governance, and clinicians with tools designed to reduce workload and burnout. The platform delivers instant patient summaries, AI‑driven clinical documentation, full chat experiences and intelligent workflows that maintain a critical "human-in-the-loop" safeguard. Features such as ambient clinical orchestration automatically capture, structure and save clinical data in real-time and suggest clinical documentation and orders for clinician approval. InterSystems IntelliCare also seamlessly connects with existing health IT infrastructures, leveraging InterSystems deep history in integration and data management capabilities.

Miro Takes Aim at the Gap Between AI Potential and Organizational Reality

 SAN FRANCISCO - Tuesday, 19. May 2026

At Canvas 26, Miro establishes its AI platform as the connective layer of the modern AI ecosystem — bringing together teams, agents, and the tools they already work in to turn individual AI productivity into organization-wide transformation

(BUSINESS WIRE) -- Miro®, the AI Innovation Workspace for teams, has announced new innovations across its AI platform, reinforcing its position as the collaboration layer where people, context, and agents from every function converge to solve hard problems, make better decisions, and build the right thing faster. Major upgrades to Miro’s agentic AI tools — including Sidekicks and Flows — alongside new Connectors, help customers close the gap between individual AI productivity and organization-wide transformation.

AI is reshaping the pace of work, but often teams are not realising the benefits. In many organizations, a gap has emerged between what individuals can now do and what companies can harness. The reason? Collaboration has fractured. Teams have moved from one mode of working to three — human to human, human to agent, and agent to agent — but these are running in silos, invisible to each other. Within those silos, AI amplifies misalignment rather than correcting it, and the gaps only show up when the work comes together.

Miro's vision to bridge this gap is clear: Organizations need a shared space for teams to collaborate around agentic output and move work forward. Miro is unifying all collaboration modes on one surface — the canvas. That includes continuing to invest in the human-to-human collaboration that remains the foundation of great work, because trust, judgment, and shared understanding between people are what drive real progress and breakthrough innovation.

"AI leverage is locked inside private chat windows — accelerating individuals, but never reaching the organization,” said Andrey Khusid, CEO and Founder at Miro. “When every collaboration mode converges on one surface, individual speed becomes company speed, and individual clarity becomes shared clarity. A collection of 10x people pulling in different directions transforms to become a 10x company pulling in the same direction. Every organization will need to make that shift to stay competitive. That's the outcome we're building toward."

“AI is more powerful when it supports and augments teamwork,” said Wayne Kurtzman, Research Vice President, Collaboration and Communities, at IDC. “Leaders must seek out the tools and technologies that enhance their teams’ creativity, agility, and innovation. As work becomes more agentic, AI’s ability to connect to work, alongside teams, becomes critical to tackling bigger challenges.”

“Accelerating work with AI in a silo creates speed without direction - and that's a problem,” said Matt Cloke, at CTO Endava. “What Miro brought to life for me was the importance of keeping context on the canvas, where everyone can see and build on it. People think about context as static things — documents, images — but everything can be visual context: a sticky note, a table, a workflow, even a pop-up interaction. Having that context accessible and connected is what makes AI powerful. How you parse it through and onwards to other elements of AI — that's where the real value is.”

Key updates to the Miro AI platform announced today include:

Teams can work with agents on the canvas

Agents are becoming a core part of how work gets done, but they've had no way to participate in the shared canvas where teams think, plan, and align. That leaves them working around a process rather than inside it. Miro's canvas is now AI-readable and writeable by third-party agents, with:

Expanded MCP support spanning tool and board creation, frames, comments, shapes, and code blocks.

New agent-friendly formats: Mermaid diagrams, Markdown, and HTML widgets so agents can contribute to the canvas in a language they speak natively.

Connectors link Miro's Sidekicks and Flows to the tools teams already use, with Connectors for Slack, Atlassian, Granola, GitHub, and more.

Most decisions are made in Miro. Now they travel further. Connectors read from and write back to the systems where work executes — no lost context, no recreated effort, no broken chain from insight to action.

Miro as a native connector within ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot, so that work happening between individuals and AI tools can surface on a shared canvas where the whole team can see, react, and build on it together.

Sidekicks evolves from AI assistant into agentic thought partner

Most AI tools are reactive. They respond to a prompt, return an answer, and stop. That works fine for simple tasks — but the complex, ambiguous, evolving work that actually slows teams down doesn't fit neatly into a single instruction. Sidekicks is evolving into a truly agentic thought partner: one that understands what you're trying to achieve and knows how to solve it.

Tackle complex work: Describe your goal in your own words. Sidekicks now understand intent, break ambiguous problems into solvable steps, and ask intelligent clarifying questions.

Canvas generation: Sidekicks and Flows can now generate full board content from a single prompt, including documents, diagrams, Kanbans, sticky notes, and frames, so teams arrive at a meaningful collaborative starting point in minutes instead of hours.

Context and Memory: Miro builds a persistent understanding of how you work, what you're focused on, and what's already in motion — pulling in the right context automatically and picking up where you left off.

Voice: Interact with Sidekicks in two-way voice chat. Speak naturally, change direction, and let ideas flow without crafting the perfect prompt.

Flows can connect systems for repeatable work

Every team has recurring work — standups, sprint reviews, kickoffs — but no shared place to run it. Instead, someone manually pulls data, updates tools, and chases approvals every single time.

Flows now extend beyond the canvas through Connectors, enabling automated workflows that call tools both inside Miro and across connected systems, including pulling in meeting transcripts, creating tasks in project trackers, and surfacing the latest Kanban views, combined with human-in-the-loop approval steps, make Flows the shared infrastructure for how teams run their repeatable work together.

Achieve better alignment and build the right thing with Miro Prototypes

The gap between an idea and something the whole team can react to is where projects go wrong — decisions made too late, with too much already built to change course. Updates to Miro Prototypes turn the context a team already has into real options everyone can react to, and align in the right direction.

Code to Prototype: Miro Prototypes now pulls context from Claude Code and other tools directly onto the canvas, so existing work becomes the starting point for team alignment and decisions.

Evolve design: Evolve existing product designs into fully connected, editable multi-screen flows by importing screenshots or Figma files and iterating with AI - all without starting from scratch.

Axelspace Announces Launch of Seven GRUS-3 Earth Observation Microsatellites, No Earlier Than July 2026

 TOKYO -

Enabling Wide-Area, High-Frequency Observation to Expand the Applications of Satellite Data

(BUSINESS WIRE) -- Axelspace Corporation, a leading developer and operator of microsatellites dedicated to realizing its vision of “Space within Your Reach,” announced today that GRUS-3, a set of seven next-generation Earth observation microsatellites, is scheduled to be launched no earlier than July 2026.

The seven GRUS-3 microsatellites will launch aboard the Transporter-17 rideshare mission via Exolaunch, a global leader in launch mission management, satellite integration, and deployment services, from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, USA.

We currently operate five optical Earth observation microsatellites, GRUS-1, under our Earth observation data service, AxelGlobe. With the launch of its successor, GRUS-3, it will expand its satellite constellation to more than 10 satellites.

Enabling Wide-Area, High-Frequency Observation

GRUS-3 will capture images of the Earth’s surface at the same location once per day for locations north of 25 degrees latitude from an orbit at an altitude of 585 km. It features a spatial resolution (GSD) of 2.2 meters, with each satellite having an effective swath of 28.3 km and a maximum capture length of 1,356km. A combined daily capture capacity is 2.3 million km² across seven satellites.

By enabling wide-area, high-frequency observation, GRUS-3 allows for more rapid and continuous monitoring of changes on the Earth's surface.

Expanding the Applications of Earth Observation Data

GRUS-3 is newly equipped with the “coastal blue” spectral band, which is effective for capturing information beneath the water surface. In addition to acquiring true color imagery and data for analyzing vegetation health, as with GRUS-1, GRUS-3 can also observe shallow coastal features such as seabed topography and seagrass beds.

By combining the enhanced observation frequency and performance of GRUS-3 with our satellite attitude control technology—enabling tasking (on-demand imaging of designated areas)—we will meet growing demand across a wide range of fields, environment and security, in addition to precision agriculture, forest monitoring, and map creation.

Belkin Advances Towards Carbon Neutrality in Scope 3 Emissions

The company’s 2025 Impact Report highlights its continued progress in emissions reduction, circular design, and responsible packaging

(BUSINESS WIRE)--Belkin, a leading consumer electronics brand for 40 years, published its 2025 Impact Report, highlighting key achievements and reaffirming its commitment to corporate responsibility. Having achieved carbon neutrality in scope 1 and scope 2 emissions in 2025, the company continues to advance toward scope 3 carbon neutrality through enhanced life cycle assessment capabilities and improved supplier and logistics data collection. In 2025, Belkin calculated 131 product carbon footprints across its portfolio, surpassed 21.6 million PCR products sold, and has achieved a 95% reduction in single-use plastic packaging since 2019, reflecting continued progress in carbon reduction and responsible product design.

“As we continue to make progress against our sustainability goals, we are taking deliberate steps to reduce our impact,” said Steven Malony, CEO of Belkin. “Over the past year, we expanded the use of post-consumer recycled materials, further reduced single-use plastic packaging, and strengthened how we measure emissions across our portfolio. Just as importantly, we are increasing transparency and strengthening governance as we build toward a more responsible future.”

In the last 12 months, on its journey to carbon neutrality in all scopes by 2030 and in line with its commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, Belkin achieved:

Climate action (UN Goal 13)

Carbon neutrality in direct and purchased emissions (scopes 1 and 2)

3,200 metric tons of CO2e reduced in 2025 for Belkin products 1

Responsible consumption and production (UN Goal 12)

95% reduction in single use plastic packaging

640 metric tons of virgin plastic saved from 21.6 million PCR products sold

1,072 metric tons cumulative plastic savings since 2019 (this is the equivalent of 53.6M water bottles saved2)

Funding the responsible recycling of:

29,241 metric tons of electrical and electronic devices

11,928 metric tons of packaging

2,029 metric tons of batteries

Made with recycled materials

Belkin continues to make progress in reducing the environmental impact of its products and packaging. Since introducing its transition to 72–75% post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials, the company has increased that figure to up to 90% Global Recycling Standard-certified PCR in select products sold in plastic-free packaging.

Best practice initiatives

Belkin is proud to announce several important milestones in its journey towards carbon neutrality by 2030.

These include the expansion of its battery recycling programme through its voluntary participation in B-cycle, Australia’s leading battery recycling initiative, and the expansion of its UK packaging recycling programme to now include household packaging.

Belkin has also been recognised by the US EPA Green Power Partnership programme and earned a Beyond Best Practice performance rating from the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO). This rating reflects the significant progress Belkin has made in advancing packaging sustainability and reinforces the company’s continued commitment to responsible packaging design and material choices.

This progress was further recognised with the Hon Hai Circular Economy Silver Award, underscoring Belkin’s momentum towards a more circular future.

Together, these milestones highlight Belkin’s ongoing efforts to reduce environmental impact across its operations and packaging portfolio. As the company continues to invest in circular design principles and more responsible product development, Belkin remains focused on advancing its goal of achieving carbon neutrality across scope 3 by 2030.

Global Millennial Capital Closes USD 100 Million IPO Opportunities Fund Focused on AI, Decentralized Financial Infrastructure, and Climate Technologies

NEW YORK - Tuesday, 19. May 2026 AETOSWire Print

(BUSINESS WIRE) -- Global Millennial Capital Ltd. (“GMCL”) today announced the final closing of its inaugural IPO Opportunities Fund at USD 100 million. Raised through a private placement with institutional and professional investors, the fund targets late-stage and special opportunities investments across mid-cap technology companies operating in high-growth sectors, including artificial intelligence, decentralized finance infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital infrastructure, enterprise software, and climate technologies.

The fund is designed to capitalize on the increasing number of technology companies achieving meaningful scale while remaining private for longer periods prior to liquidity events. GMCL’s investment strategy focuses on identifying companies at critical inflection points in their growth trajectories, providing investors with exposure to differentiated mid-cap opportunities often underserved by traditional large-cap capital allocators.

According to Andreea Danila, Head of Investment and Research at Global Millennial Capital, structural shifts across artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise software, and climate-focused technologies continue to create compelling opportunities within the global mid-cap technology segment. These sectors are increasingly driving the next phase of AI-led industrial transformation and global capital market modernization.

In addition to IPO-focused investments, the fund pursues a broader special opportunities strategy targeting companies requiring flexible growth capital, strategic liquidity solutions, or transaction support during key stages of expansion and value creation. Investment opportunities include pre-IPO placements, secondary transactions, restructuring situations, complex M&A transactions, and tailored mezzanine financings, with an emphasis on disciplined structuring, governance alignment, and long-term strategic execution.

GMCL believes decentralized financial infrastructure is becoming an increasingly important component of the modernization of global financial systems. Regulatory developments and institutional adoption trends continue to accelerate integration between traditional financial services and digitally enabled infrastructure, particularly across payments, treasury operations, settlement efficiency, and capital markets accessibility.

Investors in the fund include family offices and institutional investors from the Gulf region, alongside existing GMCL investors and international wealth management partners.
