The board of directors of the Social Solidarity Fund for the personnel of the Ministry of Interior reviewed the key programs, future plans, and the efforts of developing and enhancing the Fund’s ability to provide distinguished services to its members.
These topics were highlighted during the 16th General Assembly of the Social Solidarity Fund headed by Major General Dr. Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Vice Chairman of the Social Solidarity Fund.
Major General Dr. Al Nuaimi pointed to the Fazaa Initiative and its social services, including the rent-to-own car service, discount programs, unique promotions, and no interest loan schemes, among others.
He also noted that the Fund is following-up with a number of recently implemented and advanced services, including exclusive initiatives and services that aim to enhance the privileges of the MoI staff. The Fund’s objective is to serve the MoI community in order to alleviate the burden of living expenses and to provide them with a sense of reassurance and stability.
The board of directors also reviewed the efforts of enhancing the living standards of the MoI staff, and discussed the strategic plans that resulted in establishing dedicated services with the aim of developing the concept of social solidarity, and strengthening the principles of brotherhood and solidarity within the MoI community.
Upon conclusion of the meeting, the board thanked the General Assembly for attending the meeting and for supporting its decisions.
The meeting was attended by: Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, Director General of Finance and Services at Abu Dhabi Police; Major General Mohammed bin Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Resources and Support Services; Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior; Brigadier Omair Mohammed Al Muhairi, Deputy Director of Police Operations at Abu Dhabi Police; Brigadier Sheikh Mohammad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Director General of the Security and Ports Affairs at Abu Dhabi Police; and a number of MoI officers and members of the General Assembly of the Social Solidarity Fund.
It is worth mentioning that the Fund has recently approved of a set of new activities and events that will contribute to boosting the Fund’s resources and allow it to continue providing distinguished services and attain its coveted goals.
The board stressed on the police leadership’s keenness to activate the role of the Fund and develop its resources to guarantee distinguished services to the ministry’s staff members. The Fund aims at enhancing the spirit of solidarity and social cohesion, achieving cooperation between members to reduce the financial burdens they may face, and provide social, health, and educational requirements for them and their families.
The board of directors additionally noted that enhancing and developing the level of solidarity services is a priority for the Fund. To this end, it endeavors to achieve partnerships and sign agreements with national institutions and companies to provide distinguished services to the MoI staff members for minimal fees and affordable conditions. He also explained that the added value of such partnerships lies in the fact that they are collective agreements that encourage companies to provide their best services.
