Traffic Awareness Exhibition in Abu Dhabi Next Sunday

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Thursday, March 12th 2015 [ME NewsWire]

Next Sunday, the Saaed Association to Reduce Traffic Accidents, in collaboration with the Traffic and Patrols Directorate at Abu Dhabi Police, will organize an exhibition for creativity in traffic awareness. The exhibition, which falls within the framework of the 31st Unified GCC Traffic Week, will be held at the Al Mushrif Mall in Abu Dhabi from March 15 to 19.

Colonel Jamal Salem Al Ameri, the Executive Director of the Saaed Society said: “The activities of the exhibition include showing documentaries, distributing brochures, hosting competitions, a drawing studio, and traffic awareness performances.” He also noted that the objective of organizing the exhibition is to foster communication with society and to actively engage individuals with the process of spreading traffic awareness.

Around 25 schools of the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) are taking part in the exhibition by presenting their creative ideas for students, by students, in the field of traffic awareness. These diverse creations include musical and theatrical performances, poem recitations, and plays that are inspired by the theme of traffic safety. Among other activities, gifts will also be awarded to audience members.
