Security Media to Launch ‘Security Glances’ Campaign on Sunday

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Friday, December 19th 2014 [ME NewsWire]

The Radio Branch, representing the Security Media Department at the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, will be launching a five-week radio campaign on Sunday. The campaign held under the slogan ‘Security Glances’, will provide the public with security awareness messages and tips.

Alia Atiq Al Rumaithi, Radio Branch Manager at the Security Media Department, said the campaign’s program, which will be broadcast several times a day via the various radio stations across the UAE, will be addressed to radio listeners in a smooth, voluble and compelling manner.

Adding further, Al Rumaithi noted that all service departments’ directors at the Ministry of Interior and the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters (GHQ) will be personally providing advice and guidance to listeners, each according to his/her specialization. “This would enhance confidence and lend credibility and transparency to the campaign’s coveted goals and outcomes,” she continued.

In conclusion, Alia Al Rumaithi indicated that the Araa News Service will be sending tips and advice to subscribers via Etisalat, and posting these tips across the various police accounts on social media. To learn more about the campaign, look for hashtag #security-glances on Twitter and Instagram.
