The Air Wing section in the Northern Emirates at the General Directorate of Security Support at the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior took part in the "Little Pilot” Camp events at Al Thamid Women club, part of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah.
The visiting students were briefed on the nature of work carried out by the rescuers, as well as their tasks and duties. They were also acquainted with the different devices and equipment used in the search, rescue and air ambulance operations, and participated in a pilot training experience through the flight simulator.
The camp’s program included a photo exhibition documenting the efforts of rescuers, Air Wing personnel and aircraft maintenance personnel. The students participated with drawings that reflect the slogan "I want to become a pilot," in order to encourage young people to consider an aviation career in the future.
