MoI Scholarship Students Introduced to Law Respect Culture

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Sunday, January 25th 2015 [ME NewsWire]

The Law Respect Culture Bureau, at the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, is organizing educational lectures addressed to the Ministry of Interior’s overseas scholarship students  in order to raise their awareness regarding the law respect culture in the countries to which they were sent to study.

Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Salah Al Ghoul, Director of Law Respect Culture Bureau, said: “The students that have been sent abroad to study are basically ambassadors for the UAE, therefore it is just as important to educate this segment of society in regards to their country of study as it is to educate all of the other segments of society.”

In turn, Lieutenant Saleem Al Afari, the Administrative Official for the program at the Law Respect Culture Bureau, said: “These educational lectures are to equip students with all of the guidelines and legal issues that they need to know in order to avoid violating the laws of the countries where they are studying. The civilized principles of law respect culture are essential in the protection of individuals – hiding behind ignorance will not protect an individual from punishment.”
