From October 1st, 2021 to March 31st, 2022, the Expo 2020 Dubai will be ‘connecting minds and creating the future through sustainability, mobility, and opportunity’ according to its own claim. Organizations from more than 190 nations display one-of-a-kind architecture, culture, and inspiring innovations.
That’s also true for TK Elevator. The leading company for delivering urban mobility solutions equips several national pavilions as well as those of partner enterprises and other locations with smart and future-orientated elevator and escalator systems.
One of TK Elevator’s best-selling product series, the velino 200 and velino 300 escalator systems, are installed at the Kazakhstan Pavilion, the Russian Pavilion, and the Saudi Arabian Pavilion. The velino series cover all commercial needs, from standard and design-oriented applications to custom projects. Each velino escalator offers valuable sustainability features, and is safety oriented with over 50 intelligent safety-enhancing features. The series proves that sustainability always pays off and puts energy efficiency into operational practice to reduce a building's carbon footprint.
TK Elevator also brings its tugela escalator solution to the Expo 2020 that is installed at the German pavilion ‘CAMPUS GERMANY’, and the Saudi Arabian Pavilion. It is designed to meet all demands of traffic applications and scores high on durability and reliability. A wide range of customizable design options including diverse outer claddings and handrail colors is available.
Furthermore, an impressive line-up of Machine-Room-Less (MRL) elevators powered by TK Elevator technologies are also featured at the pavilions of Germany, Kazakhstan, Luxembourg, Saudi Arabia, and Russia. These MRL elevators are environmentally friendly designed for high-rise residential buildings, office buildings, hotels, and various public buildings. It saves building space, improves freedom of design, fully reflects sustainability, and ensures comfortable and pleasant rides. In addition to country pavilions, the same MRL elevators are also installed at the partner pavilions of DP World and Emirates.
In Dubai – the dedicated Expo 2020 location – TK Elevator provides some reference projects – such as hundreds of elevators and escalators at Dubai International Airport, one of the busiest airports in the world, while the high-rise Latifa Tower in Sheikh Zayed Road is equipped with four of TK Elevator’s innovative and unique TWIN systems.
