BCA Research Launches Private Markets & Alts Service

Brian Payne to lead new strategy offered to institutional investors.

(BUSINESS WIRE)--BCA Research Inc, a Delinian company and a leading independent provider of global investment research, today announced the launch of BCA Private Markets & Alternatives Service (PMA).

The new service -- the first-ever dedicated private markets service offering investment advice at an independent research firm -- delivers customized intelligence, information, and insights on early and growth-stage companies across sectors. PMA will provide investors with access to private markets and guidance on how they can impact their portfolios by providing cogent, comprehensive, and unbiased analysis and advice on portfolio construction and management decisions.

PMA will be led by Chief Strategist Brian Payne, who most recently was the principal manager of the Teacher’s Retirement System of Illinois’ $5bn Diversifying Strategies portfolio, and was previously a researcher and trader at Potomac River Capital. Brian will have a team of researchers and analysts to assist in providing depth within and across asset classes while leveraging BCA’s team of strategists for their individual asset class and macro expertise. The service includes private equity, private credit, hedge funds and real estate. Brian will report to Nicoletta Manoleas, managing director of BCA Research.

With investors sitting on unspent capital waiting to be deployed, BCA Research believes it is an ideal time to launch a private markets and alternatives service.
