(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia (SIEJA) released the promotional movie, “’Destiny 2’ Live Action Dance Trailer ‘Freestyle Playground’,” on September 6th (Wed.) with the rollout of software “Destiny 2” for PlayStation®4. The movie is the live-action version of the world of “Destiny 2,” which is the sequel to “Destiny,” the action game that received the Best Game award in 2015, at the British Academy Games Awards, and which number of players reached a grand total of over 30 million, as of May, 2016. Over 39 famous dancers, including SHIN, the member of RADIOFISH whose music video “PERFECT HUMAN” was played over 50 million times on Youtube, and Ginyu ForcE who popularized the iconic “Wota-gei” dance that symbolizes Japan’s world famous Otaku culture, appear in the movie. The sight of the dancers will surely give the viewers the sense of fun and excitement players will get from the game, surpassing any of the existing action shooting games. The original music was prepared especially for the video by TeddyLoid, who was one of the top 5 most frequently played Japanese artists on Spotify internationally. The fantastic finish that reminds one of super high quality music videos shot in a grand, large scale movie-like set is also a must see.
