Al Sha’far Calls upon RAK Police to Provide the Best Service to the Public

Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior called upon the Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) Police General Headquarters to pursue their unwavering efforts to deliver the best service to the public according to international best standards.

These remarks were made by Lt. General Al Sha’far during the meeting he chaired at the (RAK) Police General Headquarters. The meeting was attended by Brigadier Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of RAK Police; Mohammed Al Nubi Mohammed, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of RAK Police; in addition to directors general, heads of departments, chief of sections, and a number of police officers.

Lt. General Al Sha’far stressed the importance of implementing the strategy of the Ministry of Interior (MoI) that is consistent with the general strategy of the federal government and the UAE cabinet. Implementing the MoI strategy will yield positive results in terms of promoting safety and security, reinforcing road security to reduce traffic congestion, accidents, and road fatalities, in addition to reducing crime rates, implementing initiatives in a manner that reflects the expected implementation indicators, and coordinating with other departments, each according to its jurisdiction, with a view to fulfill tasks and duties accurately and professionally.

Lt. General Al Sha’far expressed his thanks and appreciation for the efforts exerted by the RAK Police General Headquarters. Saif bin Zayed and Lubna Al Qasimi Attend signing of MOU between Al Jawda Magazine and Zayed University

Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and Her Excellency Sheikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of International Cooperation and Development, President of Zayed University, witnessed on Tuesday, the signing of a MOU between “Al Jawda” (Quality) Magazine, published by the General Secretariat of His Highness Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Zayed University.

Saif bin Zayed Receives Community Police Award from IACP

Lt. General H.H Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, received the ‘Best Community Policing Practices Award’ in solving problems awarded by the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) in the USA to the Community  Police Department at Abu Dhabi Police.

Al Ain Traffic Section Executes Awareness Initiative about the Dangers of Not Following the Obligatory Path

Al Ain Traffic and Patrols Section at the Abu Dhabi Police Traffic and Patrols Directorate organized an awareness initiative for drivers. The initiative focused on the dangers that light vehicles pose for other road users when not following the obligatory path.

Major Matar Abdullah Al Muhairi, Acting Head of Al Ain Traffic Section said that the initiative falls within the framework of the awareness programs that aim to limit traffic accidents and reduce road fatalities. Al Sha’far Meets Leaders of GCC and Arab Delegations Participating in Search and Rescue Exercise
